The acceptance of any order or any quote that is given implies that you have acknowledged our general sales conditions
Orders received by SYCEAL will only be considered definitive after you have received the confirmation of the registration of your order by SYCEAL
Any modifications that might occur regarding an order that has already been registered by SYCEAL will mean that you will need a new confirmation of registration that will replace the previous one.
SYCEAL reserves the right to modify the jewellery on offer as well as the suggested rates and this without any notice or pre-established conditions. (ongoing orders will always be honoured following the conditions that were valid at the time of the order.)
The reproduction (entire or partial) of any of Sylvie Koechlin Proust's creations is strictly forbidden. The authors site is protected by copyright status and laws protecting intellectual property. All reproductions are strictly forbidden except if one received special authorization.
Customised jewellery (specific requests of the customer) or any changes requested by the customer are considered to be a customised order and must be paid off.
All of our prices are expressed in euros.
The prices applied when sending are those that were applicable at the time of registering the order.
These prices include shipping fees.
All orders must be paid for before they will be sent. Many payment methods are available on this website.
In all cases, SYCEAL reserves the right to ask for any justification that is necessary to insure the verification of orders and or payments. If for any reason the items can not be provided, this would lead to the cancellation of the order.
Property clause : the items remain the property of SYCEAL until the entire collection of the price of the item by SYCEAL.
- Non payment
SYCEAL reserves the right to refuse to deliver or to register a new order coming from a customer who hadn't entirely paid of preceding orders, or with whom litigation was in course of administration.
According to article 121-20 of consumers laws, the customer has a period of seven full days after delivery to return the items to SYCEAL for refund without penalties, except for return shipping fees. If this expiration should occur on a Saturday, a Sunday or bank-holiday (for France), it will be prolonged to the next first working day.
The customer must inform SYCEAL of his intention of returning the product before the end of this seven day period.
SYCEAL will only except to take back the item and give a refund if all the below conditions have been respected.
a) The return of the jewels must be made within the delays specified in the first paragraph of this article, the date inscribed on the delivery form indicating the delivery date.
b) The product must be sent back in its original packing and be in perfect state for resale./p>
Any product that has been damaged or whose packing has been damaged will not give forth to refund or exchange. This is particularly true for item whose packaging will have been damaged during the return trip, in which case SYCEAL will not accept the package. In all cases SYCEAL reserves the right to make an honest assessment of the respect of the above conditions.
The refund can be made by check or a credit on a back card within 30 days maximum after the customer has confirmed the reception of the items. All of the expenses and related risks regarding the return of an item are exclusively the responsibility of the customer as well as the postal fees related to this order.
Example :
if you have paid 45 euros worth of items by bank card : your credit card will be credited of 45 euros within 30 days.
Delivery - Removals
When the items are not sent by postal service the are sent by carrier, the shipping cost is included. SYCEAL could in no way be held responsible for any delays or delivery problems due to mistakes that might have been made by the customer when typing in the information at the moment of registering the order (wrong name and or wrong address… )
B - Delivery delays
Given that all of the jewels are unique, the delays for delivering your item are given as a rough guide and take into account the time that is necessary for making each article.
The obligation to deliver the item only take effect of reception of the payment. SYCEAL can in no way be held for responsible of delays caused by strikes that might occur in the postal service, these strikes would not give the customer the right to cancel his order, will not give forth to any reduction of the price paid by the buyer and will not entail the buyer to any type of compensation.
C - Reception.
The buyer is encouraged to make sure his delivery complies with his order
If the parcel has been visibly damaged by the carrier, the customer is to reserve the right to formulate a complaint on the carrier's delivery slip. If the customer wants to make a complaint he is to do so by registered mail within 2 days of reception of the order.
If there are any expenses related to the representation of the parcel in case of customers absence will remain his own entire responsibility.
D - Returns
Returns are accepted within 7 days of reception of the order on condition that they are sent back in their original wrapping as registered mail, with insurance for the value of the item.
This return must have been agreed upon beforehand by the customer and SYCEAL.
If the customer should make a mistake in his order about the shape, the size, or the colour of the items, SYCEAL reserves the right to accept or to refuse to take back the item. If SYCEAL accepts to take back the item a credit note will be established or an exchange will be made once SYCEAL will have been able to observe the perfect condition of the restored goods.
In that case all related costs remain the customers responsibility. If SYCEAL is responsible for an error concerning the item, it will be exchanged without any cost, the shipping costs will be chargeable to SYCEAL.
It is mandatory to collect personal information when dealing by mail order, these pieces of information are necessary for delivery purposes and establishing order forms and issuing invoices. This information is confidential, SYCEAL will in no circumstances reveal your personal information to any further person. This data is only collected in order to deal with your order and guarantee best communication.
Pursuant to the French law n°78-17 dated 01/06/1978 about freedom in information technologies, you may at any time, have access to the date concerning you for rectification purposes. This right can be exercised at any time, online or on inquiry.
The choice and the purchase of any item is the entire responsibility of the customer. If the client finds himself totally or partially incapable of using the item for having made a bad choice of size or dimension will give forth to no compensation, refund and in no way engages SYCEALs responsibility
- - Even if SYCEALs responsibility is engaged in any kind of direct or indirect damage caused by the non-fulfilment or the bad execution of the sale of any product, SYCEAL could, under no circumstance be obliged to give a compensation exceeding the value of the sold product.
The products on offer are in accordance with current French legislation and with French standards. None of the photos, graphics, information and characteristics that are reproduces and that present the products are contractual. Consequently, SYCEAL responsibility could in no way be engaged in case of error or omission in one of these photos, texts, information or characteristics. SYCEAL could not be held for responsible if one of the product characteristics was modified by the supplier.
In case of litigation, the law that is applied is the French law that registers relations between the two parties involved in a transaction, and will be turned over to the competent court in Toulouse.
